At Cerrito, we want every guest to have a smooth and enjoyable stay. To help make that happen, we've outlined a few key policies on booking, cancellations, house rules, and property use. Please take a moment to review them before booking. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to hosting you!
Booking & Reservation
To book a reservation, you must be at least 25 years old and be present for the entire stay. As the primary guest, you are responsible for your entire party and any visitors during your stay.
Payment, Cancellation & Refund
To ensure clear communication, all cancellations must be requested via email and confirmed by management. This helps prevent any misunderstandings and ensures a smooth process.
PAYMENT: A 3 night min. stay requirement for property. A deposit of one nights rental rate is required at the time of booking, with the final balance due 30 days prior to arrival - NO EXCEPTIONS. If booking within the 30 days payment in full is due at the time of booking. All rates are subject to change without notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY -100% REFUND FOR CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 60 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN DATE. 50% REFUND FOR CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE CHECK-IN DATE. NO REFUND 30 DAYS OR LESS THAN CHECK-IN DATE.
There is no rolling over of your deposit from one year to the next. There are no refunds for early departures.
Only cash, check or Venmo is accepted for payment, no credit cards. Published rates do not include the applicable sales & lodging tax.
Cerrito cannot be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural events, personal emergencies, or schedule changes that may lead to cancellations, rescheduling, or early departure.
REQUIRED TAXES ADDED TO YOUR NIGHTLY STAY: A 10% tax will be added to your nightly stay. 6% is the state sales tax and 4% is the county hotel/motel tax. There is also a $125.00 cleaning fee that will be added to the final balance. All prices, services and amenities are subject to change without notice.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Cerrito only rents to responsible parties. A responsible party must be 25 years or older to rent. A State Drivers License or other acceptable ID is required at check in.
PETS: Unfortunately, NO PETS ALLOWED on Cerrito property. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund, and will be charged $500.00 per pet.
By booking a reservation, the renter agrees not to dispute charges or file a chargeback. If legal action is required to enforce these terms or recover funds, the renter will be responsible for any associated legal fees.

Guest Policies

Cerrito does not allow smoking or vaping in the cabin. If smoking odors are detected indoors, additional fees will apply.

Please do not throw cigarette butts on property grounds, as additional fees may apply for cleanup.
Occupancy

Cerrito rental has a maximum occupancy of 9, which will be strictly enforced. Please review these details carefully when booking. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, your reservation may be forfeited, or additional guests will need to make alternative arrangements. Children of all ages count toward the guest total.

Damage Policies

Missing items, damages, and/or excessive cleaning of cabins will incur additional charges.
Cleaning Fees & Policies
(Cleaning fees are separate and not included in the rental price)

Please leave the house tidy and the grounds returned to their original condition upon checkout, aside from general cleaning.

Cleaning fees start at $125 and are not included in the rental price. Cerrito only applies a general cleaning fee, so please follow the checkout instructions provided at check-in to avoid any additional charges.

Grilling or cooking is allowed on the charcoal wood pit, and we kindly ask that all grilling take place there. if you bring your own grill please use it in the same designated area as the property pit location. If boiling seafood please do so in an area that won't leave stains or residue. Seafood must be stored in an ice chest outside the rental, it may not be stored inside any refrigerator on the property. Be sure to take any oil or grease home with you-please don't dispose of it on their property.

Please dispose of all trash in the trash cans on the property. If the house is left excessively dirty, an additional cleaning fee will be charged, as determined by management.

Please be sure to return all items to their original places. If management needs to restore the space after your stay, a reorganization fee may apply.

Please do not use bath towels for river/lagoon activities​.
